Transparent...

For this quick challenge I wanted to work with collages more. I thought I would be ingesting to some how make different layers of the collage transparent annd expose the image below. I ended up using glossy magazine paper on the bottom layers and then coating newspaper thick paper on top with polyurethane.

WOOD

For this challenge i decided to use wood as the background for a few collages, and replaced parts of photos with a wood background. I also took two photos of different types of wood right next to one another to show the variation of texture and colors found on different wood surfaces.

ERASE...

For this quick challenge I realized that the basic idea of erasing is to remove something that is un-wanted. I then brain stormed a unwanted few things that we often remove or erase and how by doing so we also create or "draw" lines on different surfaces.
